• For medium duty Rack Span applications up to 500 kgs uniformly distributed load (UDL) per shelf level, we recommend the 60 mm step beam with 18 mm particle board for an economical solution
• The 18 mm particle board sits inside the step beam giving an overall height of only 60 mm
• Compare this with other systems that may be up to 100 mm thick and you save 40 mm in storage height per shelf level
• Over five shelf levels there is an additional 200 mm of storage space gained using ACERACK Rack Span
• For very heavy duty applications up to 1000 kgs per shelf level we recommend you use particle board reinforced with support bars on 80 mm box beams
• ACERACK Rack Span using wire decking with box beams can be used with shelf loadings up to 1500 kgs uniformly distributed over a two pallet wide bay
