Nationally Recognised Training Courses such as traffic control, traffic management, forklift, working at heights, rigging, scaffolding and earthmoving machinery are offered at Ace Assessment and Training Services.
Courses offered at Nationally Recognised Worksafe licences to perform high risk work includes conduct forklift operations, perform dogging, perform rigging, basic and intermediate erect and dismantle scaffolding, shift loads using cranes and so on. The assessments include forklift assessment, non slewing cranes and vehicle loading cranes.
After completion of conduct forklift operation, students can apply to worksafe Victoria for a National Licence to learn the operating mechanism of high risk machineries. Target groups for this course include civil construction workers, entry level for apprentices, packing and shelving positions and general construction workers.
The outline of course includes planning the work, to conduct pre operational checks, operate forklift, to carry out operator maintenance, attach, secure, lift and carrying of materials, selection, removal and fit attachments and clean up. Other things include practical demonstrations and course theory sessions covering parts of forklift truck, personal safety and rules for safe operation.
