Accuweigh Weighbridges and Onboard Truck Scales Melbourne branch recently installed Forestry Weighbridge Software into an unattended weighbridge terminal for Alpine MDF. The unattended weighbridge terminal and forestry software is used at the company’s plant in Wangaratta in Victoria for receiving radiata pine logs for processing.
The forestry weighbridge software is installed into unattended weighbridge terminals with one mounted at each end of the unmanned weighbridge to weigh both incoming and outgoing trucks.
Accuweigh also installed Weighbridge Office software on the main server to allow staff direct access to the forestry weighbridge software to perform necessary changes or additions. This can also be very helpful for the odd occasion when a truck driver enters incorrect data into the unattended weighbridge terminal and needs assistance correcting the errors; which can then be done from any PC on the network.
Accuweigh’s Forestry Weighbridge Software also allows users to predefine the report’s they require using the inbuilt report builder. This unattended weighbridge terminal is designed for minimum driver interaction but with maximum flexibility to Alpine to fine tune the forestry software package to their day to day use. All database maintenance and report generation is done remotely via terminal service.
