Accuweigh ’s new generation metal detector has multi-frequency scanning ability which allows for much higher sensitivity levels for detecting contaminates over a multitude of products in various pack sizes and configurations.
This speciality snack food manufacturer based in Dandenong produces fruit and nuts coated in chocolate or yoghurt which are then packed into 10kg cartons and 20kg bags for selling nationally through supermarkets.
To assist with current production runs, Roger Lynch from Accuwiegh’s Melbourne branch offered his much valued client the full use of a loan metal detector until the new multifrequency metal detector has been fully commissioned.
The metal detector is manufactured in full stainless steel with both audible alarm and conveyor stop on detection of contaminates.
A custom engineered two metre long conveyor with a 400mm wide modular belt will be used to deliver product to the metal detector's scanning head.
