A truck wheel washer was recently commissioned at SITA's Advanced Resource Recovery Facility at Raymond Terrace in New South Wales.
Supplied by Accuweigh ’s Newcastle branch, the truck wheel washer ensures compliance with EPA requirements to minimise the potential of trackout onto public roads.
Accuweigh's AccuWash Mk2 truck wheel washer is fully automatic in operation, with the wash cycle initiated by a electronic sensor detecting vehicles as they approach the truck wash bay. Not only does this unit thoroughly clean the wheels of trucks but also washes the tyres and truck underbodies.
This latest release truck wheel washer is also self-cleaning, and automatically filters and recycles the used water to minimise water wastage. A sludge conveyor empties heavy organic matter from the collections tank while a centrifugal separator significantly improves water quality by removing sand and dissolved solids from the water holding tank.
Accuweigh’s truck wheel washer incorporates high pressure multi-spray heads connected to a high quality stainless steel pump designed to dislodge foreign materials and break up clumps of soil and other material for effective filtration.
Accuweigh's extensive industry experience ensures the company can provide the ideal and most cost effective system for all wheel washing requirements.
