Accuweigh supplies greyhound scales to Capalaba Greyhound Track

Greyhound Scales were recently supplied by Accuweigh Load Cells, Industrial Scales and Weighing Systems Brisbane North Branch to the Greyhound Racing Club at Capalaba. The Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club had recently taken over operation of the Capalaba racetrack and stewards were unhappy with the condition of the existing greyhound scales being used to weigh the dogs prior to each race.

The new greyhound scales featured the following:

  • The scales are fully digital comprising an A&D HW load cell base.
  • The cell base of the scales were mated to a Rinstrum R323 digital weight indicator.
  • The existing cage of the scales was fitted to the new greyhound scales which were then programmed, calibrated and certified for trade use as per the club’s requirement.
  • Accuweigh supply continuous maintenance and servicing of the scales in order to ensure accurate weights are maintained and reported on as per the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club’s requirements.
