’s Melbourne branch has supplied a Newlong DS-9C automatic bag sewing machine to a stockfeed manufacturer in Melbourne’s Eastern district.
The automatic bag sewing machine comprises of a high speed oil enclosed sewing head mounted on a height adjustable pillar. An in-feed with bag top trimming device is fitted with special trimming knives for crepe-tape bound closure of paper and laminated woven poly-propylene bags.
The bag sewing machine seals bags filled with pellets and premium mixed feeds with molasses at a rate of up to 15 x 25kg bags per minute, which are then conveyed to a Fuji-Ace robotic palletiser for stacking on pallets.
