LO Order Picker Licence at Training Centre
The LO order picker licence course at Absolute Forklift’s training centre in Sydney is a 2-day course designed for any operator who seeks to obtain the nationally recognised High Risk work licence to operate an order picker (LO class). The course comprises of a theory session and a theory assessment, followed by practical driving tuition and machine and equipment checks and assessment.
The training courses and testing for order pickers/ stock pickers can also be conducted onsite at the client’s workplace. The forklift training courses aim to provide all participants with solid knowledge and operational skills to safely and competently operate an LO order picker forklift truck.
Onsite LO Orderpicker Forklift Training
Designed for companies that seek to have their employees complete the LO order picker training course on the job at their current employment, the onsite forklift training course requires employers to agree to fill in all relevant areas of each student’s log book to maintain written practical proof of their driving participation onsite while working.
Students are required to complete a competency based one-, two- or three-day formal training course that covers areas such as OHS legislative requirements, verbal and practical demonstrations and full instruction of all elements of the LO Order Picker Training and Assessment program including a written examination on completion of their formal training.
LO Order Picker Licence Training Course Overview
Consisting of both theory and practical components, Absolute Forklift Training's LO order picker forklift licence course covers all information related to safe order picker operations and licence requirements. All practical driving aspects such as manoeuvring around obstacles, placing loads and retrieving loads from different heights, handling emergency situations, correct parking of the machine, checking harnesses, lanyards and more will be covered during the course.
A full WorkCover licence test will be conducted by a WorkCover accredited assessor at the end of the training course with successful candidates receiving a nationally recognised LO forklift licence.
