AVISUM has released a new version of the GEM 80 PLC with an LCD monitor. It is based around a TFT LCD and accepts component video output from the GEM80 PLC. It also accepts standard VGA inputs from a PC or PAL/NTSC input from a camera or other video signals. The choice is made with the OSD switch.
All connectors are mounted on the rear, including the 90V-264V ac input. An impedance switch allows the monitor to operate on its own or be looped in multiple displays. A toggle switch lets the operator switch between the GEM80 output, VGA and PAL/NTSC. Picture-in-Picture is also possible.
The Gem 80 series is designed for industrial use and is housed in a metal frame for panel mounting, with a tough acrylic front bezel. A metal enclosed version is available for mounting on a desk, wall or ceiling. The series is available with 15-inch, 17-inch and 19-inch LCDs with larger sizes on request. A dc input version is also available. A model suitable for Toshiba PLCs is also available.
