A major problem facing many commercial environments is finding an easy to use and cost-effective integrated AV system. Malfunctioning media players and compatibility issues make audiovisuals a time consuming and troublesome part of day-to-day business.
In an effort to eliminate the hassle, Sydney-based engineering firm AVisum has released the solution namely ViewStream 100, an integrated video and audio player. With functionality to play MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 files as well as JPG and MP3, the ViewStream 100 gives a wide variety of options for use in a commercial environment.
Storing all video and stills on a compact flash card allows the ViewStream 100 to change data whenever necessary. The ViewStream 100 has three different playback modes including continuous looping, playback on power up and the ability to schedule up to 40 individual play lists with no moving parts, the unit will not overheat from exhaustion.
The ViewStream 100 is compatible with TV, LCD and plasma monitors as well as S-Video and VGA connections. A USB 2.0 port also allows for content to be updated via computer without the need to remove the flash card from the ViewStream 100.
Additional functions of the ViewStream 100 include an interactive option such as touch screen capabilities and a barcode scanner support. These features of the ViewStream 100 allow the consumer to touch or scan an item to view the related promotional information. With the ability to also log the date, time and track played, the ViewStream 100 provides businesses with an intelligent all-in-one AV solution.
