Anti-Virus and Internet Security software distributor, AVG (AU/NZ) has expanded and restructured its channel management team to improve its service for resellers.
The two promotions and one new appointment better position AVG to support its channel partners with additional innovation and service capabilities as well as new improvements in internal efficiency.
Former Channel Manager, Tim Dawson has been promoted to Business Innovation Manager to focus on strategic business opportunities and enhancing the company’s systems and processes.
James Caldwell has been promoted to Channel Manager to continue the company’s strong focus on reseller support, building on his past experience in channel account management and client services.
A new recruit for AVG is Michael Chapman who has been appointed as a new Reseller Account Manager. In this role he will be closely working with James and the AVG Channel Team to provide quality service to the company’s reseller partners.
A recent business graduate of Monash University, Michael has also spent three years working in the hospitality sector where he gained good understanding of customer service skills.
Peter Cameron, Managing Director of AVG (AU/NZ), said the promotions and new appointments will help AVG to strengthen its focus on its valued channel relationships and ensure that the company continues to have the people, infrastructure, systems and processes in place to provide good channel support.
“AVG is committed to setting the standard for quality service in the distribution channel. These appointments are designed to ensure we have the resources and structures in place to deliver that benchmark. We also pride ourselves on being an employer of choice that aims to differentiate high performers and reward them with new opportunities for growth and career development”, he said.
