Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. represented by ASD Technology in Australia and New Zealand has introduced the XRM 2250 L-band matrix switch that features a 3-stage RF matrix switch design, which provides redundant RF signal paths and automated re-routing in the event of a crosspoint fault.
A complete 32x32 L-band matrix, including hot-swappable cards, redundant power supplies, and system controller is contained in a 6 RU chassis. The user can easily access cards for upgrades and maintenance via front panel without disconnecting cables or disrupting the signal paths of the other cards in the system. This permits seamless online upgrades and maintenance. The modular design permits a wide variety of configurations which can be easily expanded.
