ASD technology has released Low noise block converter with optical transmitter and receiver.

MITEQ, Inc., represented by ASD technology in Australia and New Zealand has released the LNBF-2440-04 low noise block converter that offers wide instantaneous bandwidth of 16 GHz.

The LNBF unit incorporates a fixed frequency 42 GHz phase locked local oscillator and low phase noise OCXO. Reference oscillator is used to convert the full 24 to 40 GHz RF-band down to a 2 to 18 GHz IF-band.

LNBF also includes a 16 GHz instantaneous bandwidth fiber optic transmitter. The LNBF is packaged in 5” x 5” ruggedized aluminum housing with an integrated heat sink. The SCMR-18G optical receiver unit is packaged in a miniature 0.8” x 0.7” housing. Standard optical connectors are FC/APC type.
