HITTITE Microwave Corporation, represented by ASD Technology in Australia and New Zealand, has released two new GaAs pHEMT MMIC low noise amplifiers that are ideal for cellular/3G basestation and repeater applications.
The HMC376LP3E and the HMC382LP3E are GaAs PHEMT MMIC low noise amplifiers that operate from 700MHz to 1000MHz and 1700MHz to 2200MHz, respectively.
These new LNAs require little or no external matching and are footprint/pinout compatible, so a single PC board design can be used to implement either part number.
With noise figures as low as 0.6dB and up to +36dBm of output IP3, the HMC376LP3E and the HMC382LP3E MMIC LNAs are ideal for front-end receivers and repeaters in GSM/GPRS, CDMA, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA applications.
These wide dynamic range LNAs are housed in RoHS compliant 3mm x 3mm leadless QFN packages, operate from a single +5V supply and feature an externally adjustable supply current that enables the designer to tailor the power consumption and linearity performance for any application.
