The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services Exhibition (ARBS ) – the largest event of its kind in the southern hemisphere – is set to become even bigger, with over 70 per cent of available exhibition space being snapped up in the first three months of sales.
According to exhibition manager Sue Falcke, this is a 50% increase on the previous Sydney event. Not only have they seen substantially stronger sales, but the average stand size has increased by 40% over the last Sydney exhibition.
ARBS is the showcase event for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and building services industry. It attracts around 10,000 industry professionals who will converge at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre from 12-14 April 2010 to see the latest innovations, technologies, products and services in the industry, and to attend the seminars that will run for the three days of the exhibition.
Dr Simon Bradwell, managing director of ebm-papst believes the main drivers for growth are new technology and energy efficiency. The industry is being challenged by government like never before, and all manufacturers are working hard to re-engineer more environmentally suitable products. ARBS is the one event that brings all sectors of the environmental control industry together in one place to talk, learn, compare notes, and grow.
