APS Expands Inks Range for Non Porous Date Coding Applications in Confectionary Manufacturing

Supplier News

Industrial marking and coding company APS - Alternative Printing Services has expanded the ink range for their Apsolute thermal inkjet (TIJ) printer used in non porous date coding applications.

The large range of inks available from APS is suitable for coding non porous materials such as BOPP, various film materials, varnished cartons and plastics in addition to all porous surfaces.

The improved range of non porous coding inks from APS caters to Australian and European manufacturers within the confectionary, ice-cream and snack food industries.

With development constantly driven by customer requirements, the ink range has expanded from traditional black to a wider colour palette available in both alcohol and water-based inks.

The full range offers customers quicker drying time with superior adhesion.

APS inks enable manufacturers to react flexibly to market requirements.

Industrial environments require inks to have specific properties such as short drying times in high production environments, strong adhesion to porous and non-porous surfaces as well as high contrast and sharpness.

All these issues are addressed with the APS range of thermal inkjet inks.

All APS inks are developed and extensively tested in their German headquarters to individual specifications.

Most industries can benefit from the truly zero-maintenance, zero moving component technology provided by APS with the Apsolute thermal inkjet printers.

APS is exhibiting their range of inks on Stand 749 at AUSPACK PLUS 2011 from 22 March to 25 March 2011.
