Two years after the release of the apsolute, APS - Alternative Printing Services have launched the STC11, which is a complementary, cost effective solution to code outer cases and other porous substrates.
The STC11 solution combines simplicity and reliability in one of the most compact units. An easy product to operate and manage, the SCT11 relies on a straight-forward intuitive user interface available in five languages (English, German, Spanish, French and Japanese) and on the Thermal Ink Jet technology print cartridge concept. With no moving parts, maintenance is reduced to a simple replacement of the cartridge.
For a minimal initial investment, the STC11 replaces low resolution systems and brings all the advantages of the Thermal Ink Jet technology cartridge, such as the coding of 1 or 2 lines with a high resolution print quality (300 dpi adjustable to 600 dpi) together with easy colour change for complete product personalisation.
Available in two versions, one with the printhead integrated with the controller and one with a remote mounted printhead, the STC11 provides all the standard features required for basic coding in secondary packaging (including date codes, time codes, expiration dates, counter, repeat print) in one self-contained steel unit. With its compact design and remote printhead option, the STC11 will fit on every production line.
