The Gear ‘Ready To Go’ unit

APMS , distributor and authorised build centre for Sumitomo Drive Technologies, are making an impact in the marketplace with their Gear ‘Ready To Go’. The Gearmotor was built for ABB Grain for a ship loading transfer conveyor 22kw, with a dust ignition proof (DIP) brake motor.

The Sumitomo Buddybox 11:1 reduction unit, with patented Tapergrip shaft mounting bush was built at the APMS Workshops and was fitted with APMS’ torque arm with inbuilt motor support. The Gear ‘Ready To Go’ unit was selected, built and installed by APMS as a part of a shipping port upgrade by ABB Grain.
