Pug Mills
APMS fitted this Sumitomo HSM Shaft Mount Gearbox to a Pug Mill, which replaced a failed Leroy Somer Shaft Mount Gearbox.
- Driven by a 55kw, 4 pole electric motor, through a 6 row belt/pulley drive Patented tapergrip bush for secure shaft mounting
- Guaranteed easy removal for servicing

Large Press Drives
APMS imported a base gear unit from Japan and made this purpose built generator (Sumitomo Hedcon) to fill a critical drive need for Bridgestone Australia.
The gearbox was chosen for its:

- Critical Dimensions, allowing APMS to manufacture and install mounting feet, electrical motor flange and first stage reduction gears
- Cost effectiveness, making the machine upgrade a viable solution
