APCS has released two dual channel signal isolators, the DSI732 and DI739, with full 6-way isolation to 2kV rms of all inputs, outputs, power supply and optional alarm contact.
The DSI732 has two individually link selectable channels for standard process signal inputs and outputs with each input channel having its own auxiliary drive for 3-wire and loop-powered transmitters.
The DI739 has two individually factory set inputs with options for dc voltage and current (uni & bi-polar) to 2kV and 10A, ac voltage from 10mV to 500V span, true rms, thermocouples, RTD, frequency in any wave shape to 5kHz, potentiometer, and resistance.
Other input functions for 4-20mA inputs are available including: max/min select, adder and subtractor. Outputs are individually link selectable.
A unique feature of these units is the inclusion of an optional change-over alarm relay which acts off the channel-2 output signal with a freely set trip point via a front mounted potentiometer and a test socket. Zero and span adjustment pots are also provided for each output.
Both units can be set up for signal or range splitting and are available in two power supply versions covering low or high range ac/dc.
