ANL Lighting Australia Pty Ltd introduces a new range of LED customisable strip enclosures from Vibe Lighting.

Strip lighting is increasingly being used in unconventional places and also to replace fluorescent and incandescent linear lighting. Offering a range of strip lights in various wattages and colours, Vibe Lighting has recently added an LED customisable strip enclosure to their range. This LED strip enclosure is compatible with most LED strip lights and has been designed to make straight linear lighting easier.

Vibe’s strip enclosures are ideal for use in shelving, cove lighting, corridors, signage, decoration in exhibitions and events, and any linear lighting application.

Product Development Manager Stephen Forsyth says Vibe Lighting has provided the perfect solution for protecting LED strips, and in the process has created a 'fluorescent tube like diffusion', which allows the LED strip with its individual LED chips to have a smooth spread of light, softening the look completely. Very easy to install, this customised aluminium extrusion can be used for continuous linear installation and run for as long as required.

Key features of Vibe’s LED customisable strip enclosures include an aluminium profile encasing the strip, while also working as a heat sink to maximise the life of the LEDs; staggered PMMA diffuser over the joins of the aluminium backing to provide rigidity; straight clean line to provide excellent finish for any design; standard lengths of 300mm, 600mm and 1200mm, but customisable to any length; surface mounted or recessed installation; end caps and mounting brackets for easy installation; and IP44 rating.

The IP44 rated strip enclosure is protected against objects greater than 1mm from affecting operation, as well as against splashes of water from getting in and damaging the strip.
