Leading manufacturer of CNC tool and cutter grinders, ANCA has won the Governor of Victoria Export Award (GOVEA) in the Large Advanced Manufacturer category.

This win takes ANCA through to the national finals to be held in Canberra later this year.

One of the most prestigious business award programs in Victoria, the Governor of Victoria Export Awards reward some of the most successful and innovative exporters with the stamp of international success. ANCA has won this award for the seventh time.

2011 was an exceptional year of growth for ANCA, an Australian owned and based market leader in precision manufacturing. Contributing significantly to the Australian economy with 98% of its products exported globally into major markets in Germany, Japan, China and the United States, ANCA has defied the odds to achieve success on a global scale in a sector traditionally dominated by German and Swiss companies.

ANCA reported almost 20% export sales increase FY2011/2012 with significant success in developing the Chinese, South American and Indian markets. ANCA has also launched new machines and software into the market to remain at the forefront of machine tool technology.

Founded in 1974, the business continues to invest heavily in research and development, and has built a specialist team of around 350 at its head office in Bayswater, Melbourne.

According to Pat Boland, Co-founder and Director at ANCA, the award is an endorsement of the hard work and innovative thinking of the ANCA team.
