Michell Instruments will be launching its transportable hydrocarbon and water dew-point analyser in the Australasian market at AOG from 20th to 22nd February 2013.
Developed in response to customer requests, the new analyser is a transportable version of Michell Instruments’ market-leading hydrocarbon dew-point analyser, the Condumax II. The new transportable hydrocarbon and water dew-point analyser enables engineers to provide a fast response for investigations into the quality of natural gas. Hydrocarbon and water dew-point are key indicators of the quality of natural gas.
Functioning the same way and to the same accuracy levels as the on-line version, the Transportable Condumax II analyser is fitted into a robust transport case with a simple sampling system that is suitable for performing supervised measurement sequences. It is certified for use in hazardous areas around the world including ATEX, IECEx, CSA and GOST, with specific local certification available.
Michell’s technical consultant, Andy Benton explains that the Transportable Condumax II provides a totally flexible analyser package for investigations into natural gas quality, allowing its use anywhere in the natural gas supply chain from processing plants through to pipeline transmission, and by large users such as electricity generation companies.
The new transportable design allows the system to be loaded into and out of a pick-up truck by two engineers, who will be able to operate and analyse the results on site, saving time and money.
Also being showcased at the AOG 2013 is Michell’s XTP601 oxygen analyser designed to provide fast and accurate measurements of oxygen levels in various background gases. Capable of measuring oxygen from 0-1% up to 0-25% and suppressed zero ranges such as 90-100%, the oxygen analysers find application in biogas plants to monitoring blanketing gases in oil tankers.
Michell will also be showing instruments from its range of moisture instrumentation including the Promet I.S. multi-channel process moisture analyser and the QMA2030, which uses quartz crystal microbalance technology to provide accurate measurement of trace moisture.
Michell Instruments will be exhibiting on Stand B3 at the AOG 2013.
