Beamex has been contracted by Eurotherm to supply its Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrator to equip its field service team of UKAS accredited technicians.
Eurotherm, who provide accredited services to many aerospace companies, use the portable, Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrator for the site recalibration of its customers’ instrumentation to aid compliance with the recently released revision D of AMS2750, the specification for aerospace pyrometry instrumentation.
The new NADCAP regulations and AMS2750 standard is creating new challenges for subcontractors to the Aerospace industry.
Richard Bolton, marketing manager of the Heat Treatment Business Unit at Eurotherm said,” The impact of the up-issue to Revision D on the AMS2750 pyrometry standard is being felt very keenly throughout the Heat Treatment industry as the prime contractors demand that their suppliers adhere to this standard in order to ensure the uniformity of parts manufactured”.
Tony Solway, Customer Assurance Manager at Eurotherm said, “We have purchased many Beamex MC5 calibrators for our highly trained Field Service Engineers in recent years and we remain very pleased at the long term uncertainty specification of the Beamex MC5 – this capability helps us ensure our customers are compliant to AMS2750D”.
It is possible to combine the reliable accuracy of the Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrator with the powerful Beamex CMX Calibration Software to create an Integrated Calibration Solution, which helps to maximise efficiency and save costs whilst delivering the very best levels of compliance and quality.
Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrator is available from AMS Instrumentation & Calibration.
