ADT Security have extended their Sensormatic Ultra Exit detection system to offer customers a high performance pedestal that can be customised to individual retailer’s requirements.
The Ultra Exit AMS-1130 detection system provides up to 2.4m of detection coverage between each pedestal, maximises customer flow and preserves store aesthetics.
Retailers can add inserts into the AMS-1130 pedestals, which can be used to complement a store’s interior design or act as a promotional platform. Each pedestal includes two clear panels, installation materials and backing card and is designed to fit an insert up to 130cm x 41.95cm in size. In addition, a base consisting of either high impact plastic or stainless steel can be added for design cohesion.
AMS-1130 pedestals provide theft deterrence by using Ultra Max technology, which is compatible with all Sensormatic hard tags and labels. An Ultra Max 9050 Controller platform provides advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) that ensures effective performance in a noisy environment. In addition, frequency jammer detection creates an alarm, which alerts any attempts to manually disable the system.
Fitted with audio and visual alarms, the pedestals also include SmartEAS options for incorporating people counting sensors and an alarm count option. Reducing time spent on in-store servicing, a service connection port is fitted into the base allowing full system service access at any pedestal.
