ADM Instrument Engineering introduces the new RSP-75 Series 75W low profile enclosed type switching power supplies with PFC from Mean Well.

Following the launch of RSP-150 (150W) series, Mean Well has further extended its lower wattage models by introducing the RSP-75 series, the 75W AC/DC low profile single output enclosed type switching power supplies with PFC function. 

Compared to the preceding models of SP-75 series, the RSP-75 series’ size is reduced by 19.2% and efficiency increased by 3~6%. 

Key features of the RSP-75 Series switching power supplies include operating temperature range of -25°C~70°C, 1U low profile (30mm) design, free air convection cooling, and high efficiency. The RSP-75 Series is especially suitable for end users seeking cost-efficient power supplies with energy savings, noise-free operation, and low profile installation.

Mean Well’s RSP-75 Series switching power supplies also feature 85~264V universal AC input range to provide 3.3V~48V output voltage options; PFC function with up to 89% high efficiency; cooling by free air convection from -25°C to +40°C or +50°C ambient temperature under full load condition, and even up to +70°C by suitable derating; and built-in functions including remote ON/OFF control, short circuit, overload, and over voltage protections. 

The series is compliant with global safety regulations per UL, CUL, TUV, CCC, CB, and CE and has also passed the TUV EN61558-2-16 certification to meet the requirements of household electrical appliances. 

Mean Well’s RSP-75 Series switching power supplies find application in industrial automation systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, household appliances, instruments, kiosks and signage or any system that requires 1U low profile installations. The series is used in rack mount systems to power peripheral communications or monitoring devices as well as in remote unmanned areas where the remote ON/OFF feature is utilised.
