ADM Instrument Engineering introduces the new DALI to PWM converter DAP-04 from MeanWell designed in response to increasing demands for DALI control of LED lighting.
The DALI to PWM converter DAP-04 works with MeanWell’s patented 3-in-1 dimming technology, enabling DALI control for many of MeanWell’s LED power supplies.
Equipped with both DALI dimming and push dimming inputs, the DAP-04, when connecting to an external DALI controller, will convert the DALI signal to a PWM signal, which works perfectly with the MeanWell dimmable drivers. Similarly, the unit will also convert an external push dimmer signal to a PWM signal.
The DAP-04 DALI to PWM converters feature four output channels, each of which can be connected to up to 20 power supply units, which means the entire unit can connect with up to 80 LED power supplies and an almost limitless quantity of light fixtures.
Key features of the DAP-04 DALI to PWM converter include an independent DALI address in each output channel for intelligent lighting control; wide 90~305VAC input voltage and low <5W power consumption; operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C; screw-less clamp style terminal blocks for quick installation; and a built-in relay contact for ON/OFF control of the LED power supply.
