ADM Instrument Engineering announces the availability of a new range of medical power supplies from Mean Well.
The new Mean Well GSM120B medical series power supplies seek to address the need for a high performance 120 watt unit.
Mean Well’s GSM120B desktop medical power supplies carry medical safety certification in accordance with the third edition of IEC60601-1, providing two means of patient protection (2 x MOPP), and making the model ideal for use with any medical device that comes into contact with patients.
The GSM120B is a class II unit (no Frame Ground) featuring a UL 94V-0 level flame retardant plastic case, which effectively prevents any shock hazard.
Key features of Mean Well GSM120B medical power supplies include ultra-low leakage current of < 100μA; high efficiency rating of up to 91.5%; no load power consumption of less than 0.15W; and full range input of 80~264VAC along with various DC output voltages in a 12~48VDC range.
The highly efficient power supply complies with the latest global energy-saving regulations including ErP step 2 (European Union) and EISA 2007 (Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007) of USA.
The Mean Well GSM120B medical series is suitable for use with mobile clinical workstations, oral irrigators, portable haemodialysis machines, breathing machines, medical display monitors, automated clinical chemistry analysers and any medical equipment application requiring a low leakage current.
Classed as ‘prescribed electrical equipment’ in Australia, the GSM120B power supply will undergo the necessary safety testing and certification for customers with OEM projects.
The GSM120B is supplied by ADM complete with C-Tick.
