ADM Instrument Engineering introduces a new range of pressure sensors from ESI designed for hygienic demands in industrial pressure measurement applications. The new ESI PR3850 pressure transmitter is designed for applications requiring a hygienic flush diaphragm connection.
Featuring a stainless steel construction, the robust pressure sensor incorporates the latest strain gauge technology, together with a custom IC amplifier to deliver excellent stability and accuracy over a long service life.
Particularly suitable for use with high viscosity materials, PR3850 pressure sensors are recommended for food processing, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, waste water and slurry handling applications. The flush membrane is easily cleaned for long term reliability and excellent performance.
Key features of ESI’s PR3850 pressure transmitters include stable and accurate output signal of 4-20mA with options for 0-5Vdc, 0-10Vdc, 0-20mA among others; detachable DIN connector used for the electrical connection allowing easy access to zero and span adjustment; standard process connection of 1/2” BSP, with optional 1” BSP and 1/2” NPT male flush diaphragm process connections; pressure ranges from 0-4bar to 0-400bar; and optional weldable boss ensuring flush-face installation to tanks and pipework.
ESI’s PR3850 pressure transmitters are also available in an optional IECEx certified version, approved for explosion protection for flammable gases (zone 0), dusts (zone 20) and mining areas (group I M1).
