Guests were treated to an interactive program during the ABB Australia Eagle Farm workshop which celebrated its national open day. This session included showcasing the new full load test bay and demonstrations of re-engineered components.
The workshop - attended by 40 prospective and existing traction customers - included workshop tours and a series of relevant technical presentations.

Technical presentations which ran throughout the course of the day covered topics such as:
- Condition monitoring for the traction industry
- In situ commutator machining
- Metal fabrication and heat treatment facilities
- Routine load testing of DC traction motors
