has released the new IRB120T robot. A variant of the IRB120, it is particularly intended for use in the food and beverage and packaging industries.
While keeping the compact, agile and lightweight features of the earlier model, this six-axis variant delivers an increase in the maximum speeds of axis 4, 5 and 6. This is said to result in cycle time improvements of up to 25 percent.
The robot is designed for agility and speed. And, in terms of accuracy, it has a repeatability of 0.01 mm. It can be mounted at any angle, either in a cell, on top of a machine or close to other robots on the manufacturing line.
The robot comes with the ABB IRC5 Compact control, which features FlexPendant programming, RobotStudio offline programming, flexible RAPID language and communication capabilities.
