ABB Australia  is supplying integrated control, safety systems and complete electrification solution for the process module for of the FPSO at Vincent oilfield off the Australian coast.

ABB Australia is providing the software and hardware to integrate the subsea control system into the FPSO ICSS. The systems will be integrated into a single control and safety system operated from the FPSO.

The solution is based on the Extended Automation System 800xA, which is pimarily used in the oil and gas industry. Maersk Contractors will use this system to integrate process control and safety systems at its FPSO. The Maersk operated FPSO will be deployed at Woodside Energy's Vincent field, off the coast of Western Australia.

ABB Australia's ability to supply a complete, single-vendor ICSS and power distribution for the process module on the FPSO was a key factor in the customer's selection of the company.
