Group Tooling was established in 1962 and has ever since supported the growth of the company as well as its business network. Group Tooling has access to global manufacturing facilities and is equipped to handle any type of tooling job.
Group Tooling has 35 years of experience in tools and is equipped with a tool room consisting of state-of-the-art equipment. Group Tooling also comprises advanced Pro Engineer CAD/CAM infrastructure as well as BridgePort CNC and Mazak machine centres.
A Plus Plastics deploys very well qualified tool makers at Group Tooling, possessing several tens of years of experience. They include qualified machinists with CAD/CAM capabilities for a range of machining activities from primary-level production to precision hand finishing.
The tradesmen at Group Tooling are engaged in producing blow moulds, extrusion tools, jig and fixtures, diecast moulds, plastic injection moulds and rotational moulds. While the tooling capacity of A Plus Plastics is about six tonnes by weight, Group Tooling functions through three departments namely CAD/CAM, engaged in overall design and prototyping; CNC Equipment, a 24/7 facility; and an EDM machinery unit that is encompassed in all tool making and assembly activities.
