MH-5 electric chain hoists from A Noble & Son Ltd are designed especially to fulfil the most arduous demands of industry, with a multitude of special, heavy duty features built in to increase performance.

These electric chain hoists feature a high performance motor with 30 minute ratings and Class B insulation to ensure continued operation even during severe.

A powered electromagnetic brake system responds instantly, and provides dependable positive braking power. Non-asbestos brake linings have been utilised to guarantee a long service life.

The main frame on these electric chain hoists consists of two steel plates that will provide maximum protection against dynamic loads.

The hoists use Nitchi case hardened load chains, which are manufactured from special alloy steel, with tough carbonised hard surfaces that resist abrasion.

The soft core section gives the load chains the elasticity that is essential for material lifting equipment. Every link of load chain is proof load tested and a record is kept of each batch at the factory.

The top and bottom hooks on all these electric chain hoists are constructed from drop forged steel that is heat treated to ensure greater strength. Bottom hooks feature a thrust bearing and safety latch for smooth rotation.

MH-5 series hoists use an oil bath lubrication system, continually lubricating the reductoion gear system and acting as a coolant for the mechanical brake.

Precision helical gears in the first stage of the reduction gear system significantly reduce gear tooth impacts and operating vibrations.

These electric chain hoists are supplied in a range of standard capacities, from 0.5 to 50 tonne WLL. They are available in a wide variety of configurations to cope with nearly all material handling requirements.
