A.L.P.E introduces the ION3, high-sensitivity Potentiometric Stripping Analysers.
Capable of detecting metal traces in different simple or complex matrices (water, food, chemical, pharmaceutical and oil products), these stripping analysers use a computer-assisted potentiometric stripping technique, which is the result of the union between a reliable reproducible electrochemical analytic technique tested for a long time and the computing power of personal computers.
The Potentiometric Stripping Analysers ION3 can accurately and repeatedly detect and quantify small metal traces thanks to the high speed used to measure the potential variations with their subsequent processing. Furthermore, this technique allows the simultaneous analysis of different metals in the same matrix.
Unlike other similar units, these analysers can run on the original sample and this means that the matrix does not need to be chemically or physically pre-treated. This makes ION3 analysers particularly suitable for routine analyses and for use by non-particularly skilled operators.
The ION3 high-sensitivity Potentiometric Stripping Analysers use three electrodes to perform the analysis on:
- Glassy carbon graphite electrodes
- Ag/AgCl reference electrodes
- Platinum electrodes
