4B Australia  has released adjustable depth bearing (ADB) temperature sensors that are designed to allow the probe depth to be adjusted depending on the sensors application.

The ADB probes screw directly into bearing housing through the existing grease zerk thread and comes in 3 standard probe lengths of 2,4, 8 and 12” (50, 100, 200 and 300mm).

The depth sensor does not need to be removed for bearing lubrication as each sensor is fitted with it’s own grease zerk.

NTC type thermistors allow for continuous temperature monitoring and can be connected to a PLC or hazard monitoring system such as 4B’s T500 Hotbus Elite or Watchdog Elite.

The ADB series of bearing temperature sensors have been approved for use in hazardous areas according to ATEX, CSA and IECEx standards.
