Following a visit by the company’s managing director to production facilities in Spain, 4B Australia has revealed that it has been appointed primary distributor in Australia for Siban’s range of Beltsiflex sidewall conveyor belts.
Well established in other parts of the world, Beltsiflex sidewall conveyor belting systems have been developed mainly for very steep angle conveying, up to a vertical gradient of 90º.
Belts in these systems are provided with sidewalls and cleats, offering a high degree of flexibility to ensure effective transition from horizontal to inclined conveying, and vice versa.
Beltsiflex flexible sidewall conveyor belts can increase capacities by up to four times when compared to conventional belting of the same width, and due to the reduced number of components in the system, can cost far less than conventional systems, while requiring less maintenance.
4B Australia states that Siban’s hot vulcanised sidewall conveyor belts and sidewall belt components will complement the company’s range of elevator buckets, belts and electronic monitoring equipment.
Paul Dennis explains that “the Siban sidewall product range is perfect for the Australian market, being a high quality product designed to meet the very toughest applications in materials handling. The Siban products reflect our own and offer end users a series of competitive and technical advantages so I am delighted that 4B and Siban are now working formally together in this region”.
