Occupational hygienists at 3M Occupational Health and Environmental Safety have issued a TechUpdate entitled “Above the Shoulders PPE for Flood Recovery and Cleanup”, which features important information about possible hazards, such as hazardous materials, micro-biological agents, noise and heat stress, and the types of personal protective equipment that should be worn, including respirators, hearing protection, and head, eye and face protection.
