ARRK Silhouette has launched two new rapid prototyping resins from Objet's 3D printing range.
These include the new Vero FullCure800 series, featuring opaque colours and improved mechanical properties, as well as the Tango series, which, for the first time ever, features an elastic material that feels like rubber.
Traditionally, to create a prototype in a soft material, secondary tooling is required which can be costly and slow.
The Tango series will be commercially available in the coming months in Shore A61 and Shore A70. Model elasticity is highly valued in the shoe, toy, automotive, and consumer electronic industries.
The addition of improved mechanical properties, colour and flexibility to Arrk Silhouette's product range enables Objet users to build models that meet an even wider range of fit, form, function and feel requirements, opening the way to new applications and opportunities.
Tango and Vero resins, along with Arrk Silhouette's existing product range, will be on Stand 4412 in the Assembly Technology Expo (ATExpo) section at NMW 2005, in Melbourne, May 10-13.
