A groundbreaking component of the range is Objet 3D Printing, an affordable printer designed for in-house rapid prototyping (RP) which will be operating on the stand. Mammoth stereolithography will also be a focus.
This prototype machine is capable of building larger parts than traditional machines. Visitors will also be given an opportunity to view a range of plastic and metal parts detailing the different technologies.
* Selective laser sintering - a computer controlled laser beam that solidifies nylon powder to the same dimensions as a 3D CAD design.
* Rapid Plastic - advanced silicone tooling combines with vacuum casting to produce one to 50 off prototypes in production simulant plastics.
* RP tooling - prototype injection moulding using advanced technology produces tools capable of making 50 to 5,000 plastic parts in two to three weeks.
Arrk Silhouette services are designed for application in a number of industries including automotive, medical, industrial design, mining, consumer goods, whitegoods, agricultural and electronics. Stand 2717.
