Arrk has released its expansion into South Australia, with the recent acquisition of RPM Solutions.
Located in Adelaide, RPM is a well known supplier of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology. The acquisition is a result of the strong synergies that RPM is able to bring to Arrk's existing portfolio of services.
As of 1st January 2007, RPM will become a fully integrated division of Arrk Australia and New Zealand and will be headed by James Sanders and his experienced team.
According to the CEO of Arrk Australia and New Zealand, this acquisition provides additional Rapid Prototyping capabilities to the Arrk Groups, utilising the SLS technology. The acquisition further advances Arrk’s aim to be the leading worldwide partner for customers in product development.
SLS technology is a unique laser building process that sinters glass filled nylon layer-by-layer to the exact dimensions of the CAD design. One of the main benefits of SLS is its ability to produce fast, durable prototype parts suited for functional testing.
