Sue Morphet, the former chief executive of Pacific Brands will join the six-person board which is overseeing Asaleo Care, according to the AFR.
The AFR reports that Asaleo (formerly known as SCA Hygiene Australasia) will list on the ASX. It is an $800 million-plus public float.
The company makes a number of well-known household products, including Sorbent toilet paper, Handee paper towels and Libra feminine hygiene products. It was purchased by Sweden’s Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget in 2004 for $890 million.
Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget will have two representatives on the board, Mats Berencreutz and Nils Lindholm.
It is also expected that Challenger director JoAnne Stephenson and Tatts Group chairman Harry Boon will join the board.
