Special Mining Service introduces Checkers Extreme crossover pads designed to provide protection for electrical cables used in mining and construction.

Crossover pads are used to improve safety and eliminate the cost and labour involved in burying cables or rerouting and stringing cables overhead.

Featuring a durable urethane construction, the crossover pads can withstand thousands of pounds of weight, even enduring constant pounding, impact and abrasion from haul trucks and falling rocks.

Checkers Extreme crossover pads are extensively tested and proven to be resistant to oil, chemicals, abrasion, cuts and tears and temperature, making them ideal for use in harsh environments.

While Types 3 and 4 feature moulded-in through-holes for tow chain attachment, Type 5 includes a heavy duty chain handle on each side. Crossover sections can be fastened together for any length required. Custom lengths are available up to 38 feet.
