RPC Technologies congratulates their Manager of Engineering (Broadmeadow Office), Pierre Gouhier.

Pierre won the Engineers Australia, Newcastle Division 2013 Young Professional Engineer of the Year Award.

Pierre holds a Master of Engineering degree, majoring in Composite Materials from Polytech Savoie (France) and is currently studying for a Master of Engineering Management at the University of Newcastle. As a Composite Engineer at RPC Technologies, Pierre has extensive experience in Transport, Defence, Manufacturing and Fibre Reinforced Plastics (FRP) Piping Industries.

Pierre thanked RPC Technologies for giving him the opportunities and challenges that allowed him to be nominated for the award.

According to Mr Tony Caristo, RPC’s Managing Director, it is rewarding to know that the company’s people are being recognised by peers as some of the best in the industry. This is the second time one of RPC’s engineers has won such a prestigious award.

As a winner at the Division level Pierre will go on to compete at the National Engineering Excellence Awards in November.
