Kemppi is collaborating with ABB Robotics to jointly develop fully equipped robotic welding packages.

Kemppi Oy, which is the parent company of Kemppi Australia, is a welding solutions provider operating globally. ABB indicated the ‘technologically innovative’ welding packages would be designed as modular, cost effective projects for companies to easily install or upgrade into robotic welding systems. The new collaboration will cover the markets of Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.

Kemppi equipment will be featured at all certified ABB Robotics welding lab locations to enable customers to conduct robotic welding trials on the latest robotic welding equipment available.

ABB FlexArc robotic welding cells are complete robot systems available in several flexible and versatile standard modular packages.

KempArc Pulse modular MIG/MAG welding systems for automation provide flexible configuration and can be tailored to meet any specific welding application. Specially designed for automated MIG/MAG welding, the welding systems are available in two power classes of 350 amp and 450 amp. Each power source offers a wide variety of welding curves for Pulse or Synergic MIG/MAG welding, and ensures quick and easy set-up in a busy industry.

Wise welding processes for automation products offer additional choice and solutions, and can meet some of the most challenging welding applications.
