Hong Kong tofu factory explodes, killing one

One person is dead after an explosion at a tofu factory in Pat Heung, Hong Kong.

The South China Morning Post reports that four were also injured when what is believed to have been a furnace explosion took place at the 600 square metre plant.

According to the article, 10 fire engines and five ambulance, as well as 60 fire fighters and paramedics were at the scene.

The Fire Services Department said that what caused the explosion is being investigated, as was the possible storage of illegal goods.
