Hundreds of workers were forced to evacuate a Queensland mining camp after part of the facility caught on fire.

A fire, that broke out in the camp's mess, saw around 300 workers evacuated, according to the ABC.

The camp, located at Injune, is run by Murphy Pipe & Civil and houses workers building a pipeline running from the Surat Basin to Gladstone.

No one was injured in the incident.
