Ecologica Environment has won the contract to carry out flora and vegetation assessments at Polaris Metals' Yilgarn iron ore project in WA.
It will be following on from previous assessments that were carried out in Polaris' work area, with the bulk of the job focusing on surveying targeted deposits and the haul roads associated with the project.
Commenting on the contract, Ecologia Environment's general manager Lazaro Roque-Abelo said the company has "significant experience developing projects in the Yilgarn region, so we are familiar with the types of flora and vegetation that reside in this area".
"Polaris has appointed us to work on this project based on our experience and our existing relationship with them."
Ecologica Environment is a subsidiary of the Resource Development Group.
