Bosch Blue introduces a new range of powerful rotary hammers designed to handle tough worksite applications.

Bosch Blue’s new GBH 2-28 DBV Bulldog Xtreme Max rotary hammers are packed with best-in-class features that allow tradesmen to work with more power and for longer by reducing vibration, minimising fatigue and increasing comfort.

Equipped with 3.2 joules of power, the new rotary hammers deliver 20% higher impact energy than competitor models and can power through some of the toughest of jobs with an 850 Watt motor for best power performance ratio in its class. Higher drilling capacity (28mm) can also be achieved at 40% faster speeds than other competitors in the market.

The GBH 2-28 DBV Bulldog Xtreme Max features Bosch’s innovative Counter-Balance Vibration Control to improve comfort for all day drilling and chiselling. The Counter-Balance technology enhances the comfort factor by elongating the air cushion between the piston and the striker to dampen vibration levels created by the striker’s ‘backstroke’. The Counter-Balance function moves in counter motion to the piston/striker to further reduce vibration levels.

Key features of Bosch Blue GBH 2-28 DBV Bulldog Xtreme Max rotary hammers include Bosch’s SDS-Plus tool holder for sturdy control and extended lifetime; Bosch’s Vario-Lock for chisel rotation into optimum working angle; improved soft grip for all day operation; overload safety clutch to minimise torque reaction; 3-mode operation for hammer drilling, chiselling or drilling only; metal gear housing for superior lifetime and durability; rotating brush plate for equal power in both forward and reverse motions; variable speed trigger for accurate bit starting; flexible lead to prevent cable breakages; and hammer hook for quick and easy tool storage.
