Kyocera rewards sales achievers

KYOCERA Mita Australia has announced a significant lift in its share of the laser printer market.

"The powerful growth of our share of the market is the result of our increased investment in the channel,” said Kyocera's Managing Director, David Finn.

“The many incentive programs that we are running combined with our product superiority in Total-Cost-of-Ownership are really biting in the field.

“Our overall running cost is up to 40 to 45% lower than that of our competitors, our resellers are using this as a key sales tool in the market.”

Kyocera has been very active in the channel over the last four to five months.

Their most recent promotion includes giving 10 Sony Portable Playstations to reseller sales personnel who purchased one of the company's two largest selling colour laser printers (FS-C5020N and the FS-C5030N).

Kyocera congratulates the following winners:

* Cybersquad It Consulting - Rebecca Gray

* The Rose Group Pty Ltd - Martin Rose

* Delta Office Solutions - Mark Petrakis

* Saltram Data Pty Ltd - Paul Joselyn

* Brisbane Business Equipment - Janelle Muirhead

* Toner Shop Pty Ltd - Kylie Jones

* Powerbiz Solutions - Boon Tee

* Coastal Business Equipment - Mike Lightfoot

* Instant IT Pty Ltd - Ted Shore

* Frank Kinninmont Business Machines - Scott Kinninmont.

"These promotions have been a raging success,” said Mr Finn. “Sales of the targeted printers have surged and our reseller partners are reaping the rewards.”

“We see our future growth in the market as highly dependent on our relationships with our resellers and that is why we are committing such a large investment into the channel. We now have over 800 authorised Kyocera resellers."

Along with these product specific promotions, Kyocera is still offering the 'Porsche Boxter Challenge'.

"The Porsche Boxter is a long term channel incentive and is all part of our focus to reward our channel partners," said Mr Finn.

This product wide promotion gives Kyocera dealer partner sales personnel the opportunity to take the wheel of a Porsche Boxter 987 convertible for a month. The prize is awarded each month to the highest achieving sales reseller.

Congratulations to the third monthly winner - Chris Wilcock from MBS Office National in Moorabbin, Victoria.
